Gavin Corr is the Global Head of Morningstar’s Manager Selection & Due Diligence Services team, the business unit responsible for managing key research and investment consulting relationships with over 80 institutional clients. This team provide clients with help around mandate and fund selections, governance and oversights of investments and funds, Multi-Asset model portfolios and ESG solutions. Gavin has over 30 years’ financial services experience, managing high-profile and highly rated institutional pension funds, retail unit trusts and US-based mutual funds, with particular focus on European and Global equities. Before joining Morningstar in 2017, Gavin held several senior investment positions at firms such as BlackRock, Merrill Lynch, Aviva and Columbia Threadneedle where he was both a senior fund manager, team leader and member of various Asset Allocation committees. Gavin holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from Dublin University, Trinity College. He also holds the Associate Qualification (ASIP designation) of the CFA.
