Joana Pedro is an Environmental Engineer with an MSs in International Development and a post-graduation in Human Rights. She worked as a Social and Environmental specialist for over 15 years, having started her career conducting Environmental and Social Impact Assessments, including Resettlement Action Plans, for infrastructure projects mostly in the global South. Joana currently leads the Social and Human Rights team at United Nation Environmental Program Finance Initiative (UNEP FI), where she manages UNEP FI project on Just Transition.
