Navindu Katugampola is the Head of Sustainable Investing for Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s (MSIM) Fixed Income and Liquidity teams. He joined the firm in 2004 and has 15 years of industry experience. Navindu was previously the Head of Green & Sustainability Bond Origination for Morgan Stanley’s Global Capital Markets group. In this role he helped issuers raise over $80Bn in Green, Social & Sustainability Bonds and led landmark transactions, and served on both the Executive Committee and the Advisory Council of the Green and Social Bond Principles. Navindu was also previously the Head of Sovereign, Supranational and Agency Debt Origination for Morgan Stanley. In addition to his MSIM role, Navindu works with MS EMEA Firm Management on cross-divisional Sustainable Finance initiatives, product innovation and policy & regulatory engagement. Navindu received a B.A. in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, graduating with 1st class honours. He has completed all 3 levels of the CFA® exams.
